Lino Mummers 2025

As part of my Printmaking coursework, I chose to explore a theme close to my heart - Bulgarian mummers. These mystical figures often appear in my sketchbooks as doodles, and I wanted to bring them to life through the art of printmaking, blending tradition with personal expression.

During class, my teacher, Giorgos Tsangaris, encouraged me to experiment with stop-motion animation using some of the prints I had already created. With his guidance - and just a simple iPad - I was able to produce a short, experimental stop-motion video.
